My name is Milad Raji, and I am a seasoned hair and beauty specialist from Lebanon with a career spanning over three decades. I began my journey with formal training in hairstyling in Lebanon, which laid the foundation for my extensive experience in the industry. In 1991, I ventured to Abu Dhabi to participate in high-profile fashion shows with brands such as Rumors, Bluemarine, and Eleganza. These experiences led me to work with top-tier fashion houses such as Christian Dior in 1998, and then again in 2001, alongside Givenchy and Jean Paul Gaultier for the BMW launch, and the Turkish fashion house Sergi Vildrim (1996).
In 1996, I further enhanced my expertise through specialized training in Milan and Venice, Italy, and in 2004, I had the privilege of working with L’Oréal at the Cannes Film Festival in France. Since 1996, I have been overseeing the beauty and styling for all performing artists at the festival organized by the Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation Festival (ADMAF) held at the Emirates Palace Hotel every spring, a role that has allowed me to showcase my versatility and creativity.
From 1991 to 2006, I worked as a Senior Hair Stylist and Salon Manager at the Hilton Hotel Salon, where I gained invaluable experience and honed my skills. Between 2006 to 2010, I was a partner and top hairstylist at the Sands Hotel Salon. In 2010, I co-founded Cayenne Beauty Salon at the Intercontinental Hotel Abu Dhabi, where I continue to serve as a partner, manager, and top hairstylist. I expanded my business in 2019, by also opening the Cayenne Barbershop and Spa.
